Wide Eyed Beauty
Shadows can make your eyes appear smaller, so brighten up dark circles with Eye Loving BB Cream. It contains hyaluronic acid which helps to plump fine lines, and peptides to reduce puffiness. Apply sparingly under the eye using your ring finger or the Mii Concealer Brush. Pat and press into place, working from the inner corner outwards.
Use a light neutral colour on the lid as it gives a larger appearance to the eye area. This will also even out your colouring, creating a good starting base. Apply the lighter shade of Perfect Pair Eye Colour in Classic Twist across the entire eyelid using the Apply & Define Brush.
Contour the Crease
Give your eyes definition by sweeping the darker shade of Perfect Pair Eye Colour in Classic Twist along the crease of your eyelids from the outer corners all the way to the centre of the upper eyelid using Eye Opener Brush.
Make eyes appear longer by lightly lining the upper and lower lids. The trick here is to not apply the whole way along the lash line, just from the outer corner to half way along. Use a brown eyeliner like Defining Eye Pencil in Demure for a softer look.
Lighten the Waterline
Whilst applying a black eyeliner to the lower waterline will make eyes appear smaller, applying a flesh or nude colour pencil will open up your eyes, making them appear much bigger and brighter. Use the Wide Eyed Liner and twist just a little to reveal the tip. Gently support your eyelid and smooth across the upper and lower waterline. (p.s. it’s also a great way to hide a hangover!)
Add Lashings of Mascara
Use a lengthening formula on your top and bottom lashes to really make eyes pop, then follow by brushing a thickening coat over your top lashes for added oomph. Our double-ended Full Focus Lash Duo mascara has two tailored formulas to make the most of each eyelash. Apply the Definition formula to top lashes in a smooth, sweeping motion from root to tip and on lower lashes, gently zig-zagging and applying just one coat. Follow by applying the Drama formula to top lashes, repeat as desired for an even fuller look.
Define and Highlight
Brows frame the entire eye area, so shape them to perfection by sweeping them into place with the grooming brush on the Beautifying Brow Wand, then define your shape with the triangular tipped precision pencil. It’s perfect for sketching fine, hair-like strokes to fill in any sparse areas. Finish by applying the highlighter under the brow and to the inner corners of your eyelids to give your eyes an instant wakeup call (yes you can do all this with Beautifying Brow Wand!)

Bridal Tanning Tips
If you’re getting married this year then you’ve probably got most of your beauty checklist planned already – hair? Check. Waxing? Check. Makeup? Check. Well, like your makeup and hair trial, your tanning trial is just as important. One thing’s for sure, your wedding day is one of the biggest days of your life, something you’ll look back on for years to come. Ensuring you look your best is an absolute must, and here’s how to pull off healthy, sun-kissed skin (no matter what the season!).
A trial appointment will let you see how the colour takes and fades on your skin. This will enable you to decide how many days before your wedding to have your spray tan and how dark you’d like to go. When choosing a shade we recommend a colour that is a shade or two darker than your natural skin tone as you don’t want the tan to look unnatural in photos (or to look too dark compared to your groom!).
Prepare for success
Dry skin is the most common culprit of an uneven tan, so prepare your skin with our homecare products. Kissed by Mii products are enriched with marine mineral extracts leaving skin deeply moisturised. Seriously Smoothing Exoliator will remove dry skin and leave a perfectly smooth surface, while Seriously Smoothing Moisturiser, which contains plant collagen, will hydrate and condition your skin for a flawless tan. Be sure to avoid any oil based products both before and after a tan as this can cause the colour to streak.
Make it last
Moisturising daily and exfoliating four days after a spray tan will help to keep skin soft and smooth, while allowing the tan to fade evenly. Gradual tanning products are a perfect way to top up a tan as they are simple to apply and will gently build up colour as the existing tan fades. Use Daily Boost Face and Body Creams to keep skin soft and healthy, while gradually building a natural looking colour. Perfect for honeymoon.

Makeup brushes are essential tools for every cosmetics bag – but when was the last time you cleaned yours? Like a trusted best friend, Mii’s Cleanse & Condition Brush Balm is the perfect companion for cleansing your makeup brushes. So, to remove makeup build-up, keep brushes in perfect condition and get the best performance from your makeup, just follow these 5 simple steps:
Holding your brush with the head facing down, dampen hairs with lukewarm water and gently swirl over the balm until you see the foam take on colour.
Rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water until the water runs clear and bubble free.
Tap the sides of the brush handle against your arm to remove excess water and to help the brush head return to its natural state.
Lay flat on a towel to dry completely.
Lightly rinse the balm, tip out any excess water from the case and leave the lid off to dry ready for your next use.
Tip From Mii
To keep brushes clean and in good condition, we recommend cleansing them every two to four weeks.
Use regularly for flawless makeup application and to extend the life of your brushes.

Happy Winter Skin
Well, there’s no doubt about it, winter is well and truly here! And whilst the weather outside might be dull and unsightly, your skin needn’t be…
Seriously Smooth Skin
Exfoliating regularly will help to slough away dead skin cells and increase circulation, but be careful not to over-exfoliate as it can thin the skin’s surface (ouch!) and cause it to become even drier. Take a gentle approach by using Seriously Smoothing Exfoliating Gloves with your body cleanser regularly in the shower. For extra smoothness, use with Seriously Smoothing Exfoliator. The perfectly round grains gently and evenly exfoliate, leaving skin silky smooth.
TIP: massage all over in a light circular, sweeping motion, starting with the feet and gradually moving up towards the heart.
When the weather becomes cold outside it’s tempting to want to linger in a hot shower. But, spending too long in the heat can compromise your skins ability to lock-in moisture. To prevent this, stick to a 15-minute limit and keep your shower on warm.
Get a moisturising habit
As we get older our skin’s natural oil levels decrease, so in order to keep skin smooth, soft and youthful-looking, moisturise daily after you shower. Seriously Smoothing Moisturiser is fast absorbing, leaving you with a silky finish and giving you long-lasting hydration – it also helps to prolong your colour post-tan (and smells oh so beautiful!)
TIP: Pat skin with a towel so it’s damp, not completely dry, then, leaving the bathroom door shut to trap steam, slather on body moisturiser to seal in moisture and keep skin hydrated. Warm your chosen body moisturiser in your palms and apply using circular movements, starting from your feet and working towards your heart, focusing particularly on dry areas like knees, elbows, and ankles.
Feel the glow
A dark tan can feel out of place against a backdrop of grey skies, so for natural radiance throughout winter, go for a subtle glow with a gradual tan. Our Daily Boost Body Cream for a Gradual Tan is super-hydrating and can be used every day to build a sun-kissed, year-round glow.
For a little something special try a light dusting of illuminating bronzer such as Mii Celestial Skin Shimmer over décolletage and across arms and shins.

Master Matte with Mii
Prep the lips before applying colour to make them appear baby-soft and smooth. Use a toothbrush to gently exfoliate your lips, so the Passion Matte Lip Lover will glide on more easily and lips will stay flake-free
Remove excess oil – dab a little Mii Complete Cream Concealer over lips prior to applying Passion Matte Lip Lover for a true colour pop!
Outline lips with the accompanying shade of Alluring Lip Liner. Begin with the Cupid’s bow, then work from the outer corners of the mouth upwards and inwards. Fill the entire lip with liner to create the perfect base for the lipstick, helping the colour look more intense and stay all day
Arch lips and apply Passion Matte Lip Lover in sweeping strokes – avoid rubbing lips together to prevent smudging. Use a Mii Lip Lover Brush to work the pigment evenly into lips for a deeper concentration of colour
For precise application, clean stray edges and Cupid’s bow with the same concealer you used prior to applying your Passion Matte Lip Lover. Use a Mii Precise Concealer Brush or cotton bud
To set lips and help your colour to last even longer, blot lipstick with a single ply of tissue

It’s the age old tanning question… “How do I get my tan to last longer?” Well lovelies, it’s simple. The secret to an enviable, longer-lasting tan comes down to one thing: the prep. Yes, preparing for your tan is just as important as caring for it. So to help you get the most out of your tan, follow these steps to buff, scrub and moisturise your way to perfectly prepped skin.
EXFOLIATE & REMOVE
24 hours before you tan, use Seriously Smoothing Exfoliator to slough away dead skin cells from the face and body, starting with the feet and gradually moving up towards the heart. Be sure to pay extra special attention to dry areas like knees, elbows and feet. For a deeper exfoliation, use with Seriously Smoothing Exfoliating gloves, or if you’re short on time, our double sided Seriously Smoothing Exfoliating Wipes will prep your skin for tanning in a hurry. Follow by removing any unwanted body hair and moisturise using Seriously Smoothing Moisturiser. Warm in your palms and apply using circular movements, starting from your feet and working towards your heart.
On tanning day, shower but stick to a 15-minute limit as spending too long in the heat can compromise your skin’s ability to hold moisture. Do not apply oils as this can act as a barrier to the tan. Pat skin with a towel so it’s damp, but not completely dry.
Before you tan, protect any dry areas by using Seriously Smoothing Moisturiser, focusing particularly on:
Feet – including around the ankle, over Achilles, along sides, over top of foot and between toes
Hands – including palms, in between fingers and wrist
Rub in until clear, but not completely absorbed.
A few handy tips to do before you tan…
Remove any deodorant or perfume with an oil free wipe such as our Seriously Smoothing Exfoliating Wipes and remove makeup using an oil free makeup remover.
If your nails are bare, apply a clear base coat to protect them from staining.
Remove any jewellery, except piercings.
Tie your hair back to prevent any excess tan from getting in your hair.
